We’re pleased to announce that SEC Storage was a finalist for the ‘Best Use of Robotics’ Category at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2024.
This nomination recognised our work with Pro FS (Professional Fulfilment Services), where we deployed Europe’s first RoboShuttle Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) tote-retrieval system. Using order clustering and SKU analysis through DIDO, our warehouse design platform, we reduced Pro FS’s robot requirement from 67 to 24, a 64% saving on robotics costs, while increasing picks per hour to over 600.
This project demonstrates that automation isn’t just for big organisations and that it is also suitable for smaller operators; scalable, cost-effective robotics can work at all sizes.
Being shortlisted for this award is a testament to SEC’s cutting-edge innovation and exceptional execution of robotics deployment.
