A notable addition to last year’s IMHX was the Sustainability Zone, delivered by SEC Group. This innovative zone was designed to showcase the latest advancements in three essential areas: Technology, Innovation & Infrastructure, and People. The primary goal was to provide practical insights into the tools and solutions that can drive sustainable, efficient, and flexible warehouse operations.

Diverse Topics:

Within the expansive 300m² Sustainability Zone, a diverse range of topics took center stage. These included Extended Reality (XR), Autonomous Mobile Robots, Wearable Technology, Sustainable Packaging, and the Workforce of the Future. Each topic shed light on the evolving landscape of logistics and how innovation is shaping its future.

Augmented Reality:

Visitors to the Sustainability Zone were treated to an immersive experience through Augmented Reality. This technology brought to life a host of innovations, offering a glimpse into the exciting possibilities that await the logistics sector.

3D Virtual Reality Warehouse Tour:

One of the standout attractions at our SEC Group stand was the fully immersive 3D Virtual Reality Warehouse Tour. This drew significant attention from visitors eager to explore our XR technology. They had the unique opportunity to walk through and interact with a virtual warehouse environment, showcasing the potential of our solutions.

Next Generation Recognition:

At SEC Group, we firmly believe in nurturing young talent to lead the logistics industry into the future. It was a moment of immense pride when our XR specialist, Dhinay Chohan, was announced as one of the deserving winners of the Next Generation scheme. This scheme, delivered by Informa and the CILT, recognizes and celebrates the very best of young logistics talent. Since then he has also been the winner of the 2023 UKWA Young Professional Award!
