Office mezzanine floors for industrial environments and warehouses
SEC Interiors is a fully compliant designer, supplier and installer of office mezzanine floors. We can provide mezzanines for use in corporate, commercial, industrial and public sector environments.
On a standard mezzanine floor, a chipboard flooring solution or similar is used to form the walkway; edge protection and handrails are then installed to finish. Additional accessories can also be installed depending on what the mezzanine is going to be used for.
Franke Coffee Systems
The fit-out of the office and reception areas included the installation of carpets, partitioning systems, a kitchen tea-point, lighting and suspended ceilings. SEC installed vinyl flooring to the training rooms and reception areas beneath the mezzanine, and the rooms were fitted with all necessary power outlets ready for the move-in of Franke’s machinery.
A raised access floor at a height of 500mm was installed in a specified area under the mezzanine to form a platform for the product showroom. The showroom was then fitted with ceramic effect flooring, stylish kitchen units and ambient spotlighting, set to showcase our client’s range of coffee machines.
Axalta Coating Systems (UK) Limited
The office fit-out and project management carried out at Axalta Coating Systems (UK) Ltd included a 140 metre squared break-out area, server rooms, multiple training rooms and administrative offices to accommodate all liquid coating businesses. The extensive project involved the construction of two mezzanine floors above the meet and greet area and in the plant area to house the Air Conditioning units.
Adapt UK Ltd
Adapt has over 50 years of collective experience in designing, manufacturing, selling and supplying products into the office furniture industry space, with a strong focus on ergonomics. The company offers a varied product range, including bespoke design services. Adapt UK Ltd, having recently acquired a new mixed-use facility in Milton Keynes, were looking to refurbish two floors of office space, with the outlook of connecting the existing premises; the first-floor office space to the factory and production environment below on the ground floor.
To do this, SEC found that the best solution would be to install new office mezzanine flooring, in turn, creating an interconnected walkthrough between the production and office areas with an access staircase to the meeting areas and the factory floor below.
