What is a suspended ceiling?

Suspended ceilings are secondary ceilings suspended within an existing room from either an existing ceiling, a mezzanine floor or similar structure to create a void which is useful for fire protection or acoustic solutions to be fitted. They can be used to allow installations of smoke detectors, ceiling lights, or CCTV systems, which will all be easily accessible should you need to change, remove or repair them at any point.

REWIND

When reviewing the site at REWIND fx, some of the bigger challenges we encountered in addition to it being a derelict building were, the condition of the property and what requirements were essential to reinstating it.

Its’ angular configuration, which involved careful consideration to best practice when utilizing the office space available and also, the location of the building which sat along a main road in the town. We installed a suspended ceiling in the building sporting an industrial look matching the unique feel of their space.

Meet and greet space

Axalta Coating Systems (UK) Limited

The office fit-out project carried out at Axalta Coating Systems (UK) Ltd included a 140 metre squared break-out area, multiple training rooms and administrative offices to accommodate all departments within this liquid coating business.

The extensive project involved the construction of two mezzanine floors above the meet and greet area and in the plant area to house AC units.
