3D Render

SEC XR

SEC XR is SEC’s Extended Reality Engine, that incorporates 3D design renders, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality capability, for a fully immersive warehouse design experience.

The Visualisation and Extended Reality Experience

The SEC Extended Reality (XR) platform enables the creation of Virtual Reality models that users can walk around and interact with, including picking up boxes, testing processes, and even prototyping different configurations. This immersive Virtual experience allows our customers to explore and evaluate their future warehouse, ensuring it meets their expectations and requirements before any physical changes take place.

We developed SEC XR to support our award-winning DIDO platform – Data In, Design Out – which harnesses cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and virtual reality to revolutionise the warehouse design process.

Integrating SEC XR into the DIDO platform, allows users to visualise the design solution and enhance the decision making process around infrastructure to make them safer and more efficient.
XR also facilitates rapid iterative design capability allowing customer to provide immediate feedback through a quicker comprehensive of the solution. It is often challenging to visualise a 2D drawing – now customers can interact with us during the design phase, as they can see their warehouse in near-photo reality and understand immediately how the proposed design will impact operations.

In addition to enhanced development time and design comprehension, the use of SEC XR positively impacts risk management, quality of training and sustainability:

  • XR significantly mitigates risk as customers have a better understanding of the solution and can troubleshoot in advance
  • XR can enable virtual training, lowering on-site training needs by 95% which increases utilisation speed as they start using the solution earlier
  • XR aids sustainability through creating safer solutions, and our simulations and virtual twins reduce travel distances of people and equipment, lowering energy costs.
