The SEC Virtual Atrium showcases the latest innovations in sustainable, efficient, and flexible warehouse operations, with a particular focus on the Sustainability Zone. This new feature of the IMHX event was delivered by SEC Group and highlights the tools and insights available to achieve sustainable and cost-effective warehouse operations.
Our latest solution
Earlier this year, a major electrical distributor partnered with SEC Storage to develop a new warehouse; designed to maximise space, streamline operations, and enhance service across the UK. By consolidating inventory from multiple subsidiaries into a single facility with around 10-12,000 SKUs, we created a setup that supports both current needs and future growth.
To ensure success, the distributor utilised SEC Storage’s AI-driven design platform, DIDO, to guide the design process. With this advanced technology, they gained a data-backed solution tailored to their broader market expansion goals, positioning them for continued innovation in 2024 and beyond.
